Hey, my name’s Pete.

I’m 36, a dad to 2 beautiful young kids, and True North is my passion project.

I’m not a “life coach”. I’m a project manager with 15 years experience delivering energy and sustainability projects in Australia and the UK.

I love adventure and exploring hard to reach parts of the world. Hiking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, husky sledding and chasing the northern lights in Finland, and tracking mountain gorillas in Uganda are some highlights.

So what am I doing here…?

I’ve always been driven by a search for meaning and systems to get the most out of life. I’ve read countless books and listened to hundreds of podcasts on topics ranging from philosophy and psychedelics to productivity and habit building. Over the years I’ve dabbled with a lot of the tools True North is built on, but they never really delivered material results.

With the arrival of our son in early 2025, questions around what’s important to me, what sort of life do I want for my family, and what can I do to be the best version of me started coming back into the frame. I set out to find the answers and in doing so, created something I never intended to build, but couldn’t ignore once it was in front of me.

True North is the result of a lifelong search for “something more”, which came to an unintentional fruition in a matter of months. It’s created incredible improvements in my mental clarity, productivity, and sense of fulfilment. Now it’s something I want to share with anyone that’s interested.

If that’s you, give me a shout!
